Julio closely supervises projects on-site from inception to completion. He meticulously coordinates with building management and facilities to oversee on-site conditions, ensuring they are safe and set up for success. His daily tasks include checking on-site safety procedures, scheduling subcontractors, generating RFI’s, maintaining quality control, carrying out building inspections, and certifying that project operations coexist peacefully with other tenants within the building.
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
Julio began his career in the industry working alongside his father in the drywall trade, primarily in custom home projects in Palo Alto and Atherton. Through his years in the trade he learned to appreciate the satisfaction of a perfectly smooth wall finish— a skill that was sought out by architects and contractors in the area. He later changed roles and became a superintendent, spending many years working in hospitals and medical facilities installing MRI, Cath Labs, X-rays and other medical equipment. Today, he enjoys the challenges of working in a 22- story occupied high-rise in Foster City.
SKILLS AND HOBBIES:
Julio can often be found traveling along the Pacific Ocean in his classic RV with his golf clubs in tow. On the road, he enjoys photography, playing sand volleyball, and reading in a hammock. Back at home, he loves spending time in his dad’s backyard garden—which he maintains has too many tomatoes and not enough chili plants—while snacking on fresh oranges, lemons, peaches, plums, avocados and persimmons.
