American Eagle Outfitters

Job Summary

A mainstay of American style, American Eagle Outfitters wanted to go big when it came to their San Francisco flagship. The 12,737 square-foot store consists of two stories of retail space, all of which exuded a light, airy feel— fitting, considering that the brand’s intimates shop-in-shop aerie was part of the build.

Description

Creating a flagship of this magnitude was no small feat. Rylko’s team rose to the challenge, finding hardworking and sophisticated solutions to fit the expansive space including extra-tall glass windows that create a cohesive look from floor to floor. Rylko installed not one but two forms of vertical transportation (elevator and escalator) to easily take shoppers throughout the vast retail environment.

Custom millwork and high-end finishes contributed to the coastal, laid-back look of the store, including American Eagle’s signature slatted wood entryways. Pure white Ardex flooring brought in a modern touch, complimenting the variety of light wood treatments used throughout. When the flagship welcomed its first customers, American Eagle’s team was proud to show off the new look, and grateful to the Rylko team for their exemplary service.
